The vision for Unique Extrusions started over 40 years ago when Bob Tabshey, our company President saw the need in the aluminum extrusion industry for a value-added extruder. Someone who could take on an extrusion project and handle not only extrusion but any secondary processes as well. Back then the extrusion industry was designed to put out large volumes of extruded aluminum with little focus on the value-added services most extrusion would then need once they left the extrusion plant.

With a vision and an immense drive to create the most comprehensive extrusion company in the country, Bob set out to create a “One-Stop Shopping Experience,” where his customers could purchase aluminum extrusions, fabrication, and finishing all from the same vendor. This addition of vertical integration afforded Unique’s customers the ability to buy from one source, helping to streamline the number of vendors they had to take on. This in turn cut down on freight, quality issues and made the overall purchasing experience of aluminum extrusion a pleasurable one.

Today, we are proud to be recognized as one of the largest value-added extrusion companies in the country.
