Unique Extrusions recently went to Las Vegas to attend two trade shows. The first show was the Cinemacon Trade Show, which was a Theatre/Movie Entertainment Show. The show was located in two separate rooms inside the Ceasar’s Palace Convention Center and showcased every aspect of the theatre and movie industry that you could possibly imagine. As we walked through the show, we saw booths selling products for theatre seating, projection screens, arcades, theatre concession goodies including ice cream, candy, hot dogs, soda vendors, etc. There were also booths for movie billboard displays and theatre building designs. We were mostly looking to visit some of our current customers in the lighting industry which also work with theatre lighting companies, as well as finding some new potential customers who may use extrusions in their lighting products. We met some great people with some new and exciting ideas for the theatre industry and through our follow up efforts, we will hopefully be able to provide some quality products for those companies.
